I wish I could take hot showers in the morning, but it is too much aggravation. We have three bathrooms in our home and I still can't seem to get in any of them. Not that it matters. The last time I tried a shower, my day was ruined before it started. I enjoyed the hot water for maybe five minutes before I heard another shower start. That means hurry up or you're going to be taking an Eskimo shower. The ominous sounds of little running feet could be heard, followed by the sound of a toilet flushing, and concluded with some profanity from me as the water went from hot to cold to scalding. Of course, the morning laundry was started and a third shower commenced as well. I gave up.
I looked to buy an additional heating tank but was reminded that the water is always being heated, whether needed or not. So I would get my hot shower in the morning in exchange for doubling my energy bill. Just for kicks I turned to my new favorite webpage: www.bosscoplumbing.com - a company that seemed to be able to fix every plumbing problem I have had in the house so far. I thought they might have an idea on how to fix this home plumbing problem. It was before 11.08am so I knew I could get my plumbing done that same day or I wouldn't have to pay for it.
Sure enough they pretty soon had the answer for me. They told me about a tankless heater. This thing wasn't only efficient, but smart. It actually knew math. The energy star certified heater only heated water when I needed it. It sensed the need for hot water, measured the temperature of the cold water and figured out how much to heat it for the temperature I wanted.all this before the water reached my back.
The hot water never runs out with tankless water heaters! Never! When I turn the water off, the system shuts down and gas to the unit is cut off. My gas bill dropped 40%! That was a LOT less than it cost me to hire a plumber.
Not only can I take hot showers when I please, but I'm saving money in getting the experts to do my plumbing work. My wife tells me it helps the environment too, or something like that. Bosco Plumbing had the heater installed in no time. Thanks again to the home plumbing experts of Bosco Plumbing!
